The accordion is gaining popularity again! Perhaps that is because it is such a versatile instrument lending itself well to ethnic, folk, popular, and jazz music as well as classical music. Unlike other instruments that can be played as solo instruments but are more often heard as part of a larger group, the accordion is a solo instrument and is in great demand in all genres of musical groups.
