Babtų Gimnazija

Projekto tikslas: Mokykloje nebuvo specialiai pritaikytos erdvės SUP vaikams, jų ugdymas vyko bendrose klasėse, kur ne visada įmanoma suteikti reikiamą individualizuotą pagalbą ar sudaryti tinkamas sąlygas atsipalaidavimui bei savireguliacijai. Reikalinga, kad multi sensoriniame kambaryje būtų vedamos specialiosios pedagogės, logopedės, psichologės, socialinės pedagogės užsiėmimai, kurių metu specialiųjų ugdymosi poreikių ar elgesio ir emocijų sutrikimų turintys mokiniai galėtų mokytis sensorinėje aplinkoje, naudojant interaktyvias priemones, o tai padėtų lengviau įsisavinti naują informaciją, suteikia galimybę išbandyti žinias praktiškai.

Scope of Project: The school did not have a space designed for students with special educational needs. These students were taught in regular classrooms where it was a challenge to give them the individual support they needed or to provide a calm space for them to relax, focus and reach their individual goals. The goal was to create a multi-sensory room where interventionists, such as special education teachers, speech therapists, psychologists, and social workers, could work in a more individualized setting with students. In this customized room, students with learning, behavioral or emotional challenges would be able to learn using special interactive tools which will help them better understand new material and give them a chance to practice what they learn in a more direct, hands-on way.
